OUR FACILITIES



Our facilities provide an attractively landscaped, fully signalled, raised level track of 1,950 feet with a minimum radius of 43 feet.    This accommodates  3.1/2" and 5 " gauges and smaller 7.1/4" locomotives (such as standard 0-4-0 or 0-6-0 tank engines or riding trucks).

Now that we have been able to return to the site we hope to re-establish a workshop. kitchen and clubhouse alongside an 8 road steaming bay.  This steaming bay has a turntable with 12v electrics for steam raising, and a hydraulic lift for unloading, as well as parking and toilet facilities.    Our Society is a member of the Southern Federation of Model Engineers and Midland Federation of Model Engineers
